If you're angry at your partner, your wife, your husband or your family, picture yourself 40 years from now. What would you give to go back in time to this very day and live it once more with your loved ones, when they're long gone?
Treat every new day as if yesterday never happened. Don't hold grudges, don't dwell on the past. Be grateful you get to live one more day, that the sun is shining and that you'll be doing exciting things today.
Nursing a grudge for years will only keep you from moving forward. Plotting revenge won't get you anything. Let it go and move on. Prove people wrong about you with your attitude, your decisions and your success.
The bad things someone says about you say the most about them.
At the same time, set boundaries. Don't accept things that go against your values.
Don't sweep problems under the rug. Talk things through and work on the quality of your relationships.
Get rid of the negativity around you and open up to positive experiences. Everyone has problems, but not everyone wants to wallow in a swamp of them all the time. Look after your positive energy.
If it comes to that, cut out of your life people who are insincere, disloyal, untrustworthy, or who keep making the same mistakes and complaining about how bad they have it. Wish them all the best and let everyone go their own way.
